Suguru Misato, a high schooler living alone in the spacious home his late parents left behind, decides he needs a maid to manage the day-to-day. His search takes an unexpected turn when a bus hijacking is stopped by a poised young woman in a maid outfit—Mahoro herself—who soon becomes his live-in maid after choosing a quieter life. As she settles into Suguru’s household and grows closer to him and his friends through lively everyday moments, Mahoro keeps her deeper reasons for staying close to him to herself, hinting at a connection between their pasts that Suguru has yet to understand.
