Dragonaut - The Resonance

Twenty years ago, a massive asteroid on course for Earth shattered Pluto, then stalled in space under the name Thanatos. With the threat of impact still looming, the International Solarsystem Development Agency launches the D-Project, uncovering a dragon egg beneath the ocean and developing the “Dragonaut” as a weapon meant to destroy Thanatos when the time comes. Their plans grow more urgent when destructive, dragon-like creatures begin appearing on Earth.

Jin Kamishina, an isolated 18-year-old still reeling from the shuttle accident that took his family two years earlier, is pulled into the unfolding crisis after witnessing one of these creatures commit murder. Saved from a deadly fall by a mysterious girl named Toa, Jin becomes the chosen pilot of the Dragonaut, and the two are drawn deeper into the secrets surrounding the dragons—finding both allies and adversaries as their bond gradually deepens.
