Synopsis
After winning the rare avatar characters “Kite” and “Black Rose” in a special event hosted by the creators of the MMORPG The World, Shugo and his twin sister Rena log in to begin their adventure. As they take on quests and in-game events, they’re joined by new companions: Ouka, Mirelle, Hotaru, and Sanjuro.
Their fun quickly turns unsettling when strange monsters begin to appear, and being killed by them leaves players comatose in real life. With the danger spreading, Shugo and Rena find themselves at the center of the mystery—targeted for reasons they don’t yet understand—as they search for answers to what The World is hiding.
