Synopsis
In the year 2205, a sage known as a Saniwa can grant life to objects that should be lifeless. As sinister forces attempt to travel into the past and rewrite history, the Saniwa’s greatest defenders are awakened as Touken Danshi—famed Japanese swords given human form.
*Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru* follows Yamatonokami Yasusada, the cherished uchigatana of Souji Okita, as he arrives at the Saniwa’s citadel for his first day. Reunited with his old companion Kashuu Kiyomitsu, he settles into a lively routine alongside the other sword warriors, sharing lighthearted days filled with boisterous games and welcoming new faces. Still, when duty calls, they set aside the calm of home to carry out missions dedicated to safeguarding the flow of history.
