Ayumu Narumi has spent his life compared to his celebrated detective brother, Kiyotaka. When Kiyotaka vanishes without a trace, he leaves behind his wife Madoka, Ayumu, and an unsettling clue pointing to something called the “Blade Children.”

Ayumu’s quiet routine is shattered when a classmate dies at school. What initially looks like suicide is revealed to be murder—and the evidence makes Ayumu the obvious fall guy. As he digs into who set him up, he’s drawn into the shadowy world of the Blade Children, a group with ties to Kiyotaka himself. The closer Ayumu gets to the truth, the clearer it becomes that the danger surrounding the Blade Children is real, and that his connection to Kiyotaka runs deeper than he ever suspected.
