Sanrio Boys

Kouta Hasegawa is an ordinary high schooler with a soft spot for Pompompurin, the Golden Retriever-inspired Sanrio character he’s cherished since childhood thanks to a gift from his grandmother. After being teased and labeled “girly” for his affection for Sanrio goods, Kouta starts hiding that side of himself, embarrassed by something that once brought him comfort.

A run of unexpected encounters leads him to classmates who share the same interest: Yuu Mizuno, a flashy boy with plenty of admirers; Shunsuke Yoshino from the soccer team; Ryou Nishimiya, a younger student who helps out in the library; and Seiichirou Minamoto, the student council president. With their support, Kouta begins to accept what he likes without shame—and the group sets their sights on putting together a stage play for the cultural festival, adding a little extra sparkle to everyday school life.
