After School Dice Club

Miki Takekasa keeps to herself at school, watching her classmates from a distance while quietly wondering what “fun” is supposed to feel like. After classes one day, she’s pulled into an unexpected detour by her energetic classmate Aya Takayashiki, and the small adventure begins to nudge open the world Miki has been avoiding.

On the way home, the two spot their class representative, Midori Oono, heading into Saikoro Club—a shop devoted to board games. A first taste of a German board game becomes a turning point for Miki, revealing the kind of enjoyment she’s been searching for. Before long, after-school hours are filled with strategy games, new faces, and the growing circle of friends she finds through play.
