Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!

At Binan High School, the members of the Earth Defense Club would rather spend their afternoons lounging, joking around, and unwinding at the Kurotama Bath than worrying about anything as grand as saving the planet. Their easygoing routine is interrupted when a mysterious pink wombat suddenly appears and, against their will, grants the five boys magical powers.

Recast as the “Battle Lovers,” they’re pushed into fighting off threats aimed at draining the world of love—while a trio of villains, acting under the direction of a green hedgehog, works toward conquest. What follows is a playful, genre-skewering parade of bizarre enemies, from a chikuwabu creature to a chopstick phantom and even a monster remote control, as the reluctant heroes try to keep the peace without losing their laid-back spirit.
