Juri Yukawa’s plans to finally leave her parents’ home collapse after a string of failed job interviews. She remains in a strained household with her working mother Nobuko, NEET brother Tsubasa, unemployed father Takafumi, and single-mother sister Sanae—placing the family’s dwindling hopes on Sanae’s young son, Makoto. When Makoto and Tsubasa are abducted by an unknown group demanding five million yen in just 30 minutes, the family is pushed to the edge.

In desperation, Juri’s grandfather exposes a perilous secret: a mystical stone that, when fed blood, pulls its users into “Stasis,” a frozen version of reality where time stands still for everyone else. Juri and Takafumi race to mount a rescue, only to be confronted by others who can also move within Stasis, turning a straightforward exchange into something far more unsettling. As confusion escalates, a towering entity known as the Herald emerges—an ominous presence tied to the mysteries of this stopped world.
