Fifteen-year-old Saki Uno spends her days juggling school with an idol side gig in the famously unpopular duo Magical Twins. Even so, she enjoys performing alongside her best friend, Sakuyo Mikage, all while hoping to grow closer to her childhood crush—Sakuyo’s older brother, Mohiro. That ordinary routine takes a bizarre turn when a thug-like stranger shows up at her home, only to reveal himself as Kokoro-chan, a mascot searching for a successor to Saki’s mother, who once fought demons as a Magical Girl.

Saki doesn’t take the recruitment seriously until she learns Mohiro has been marked by adorable, squirrel-tailed demons. Racing to protect him, her feelings spark a “Love Power” awakening—along with an unexpected transformation that turns her into a muscular man in a frilly outfit, supposedly better suited for battle. With Sakuyo at her side, Saki steps into her new role to fend off the fluffy demonic threat and keep Mohiro safe.
