Mirai

Four-year-old Kun Oota has always been the center of attention at home, sharing a comfortable routine with his parents and the family dog, Yukko. When his baby sister Mirai arrives, that world shifts overnight—his parents’ focus turns to the newborn, and Kun’s jealousy and outbursts bubble to the surface as he struggles with no longer being the only child.

As he tries to make sense of the change, Kun is swept into a remarkable time-spanning experience that brings him face to face with versions of his family from different eras. Through these encounters, he begins to understand what it means to belong, and what it takes to grow into the role of an older brother.
