Three years after their last journey across the stars, Lafiel Abriel and Jinto Linn find themselves together again—Lafiel now commanding the assault ship Basroil, with Jinto serving at her side as its supply officer. Their reunion is cut short when war reignites between the Abh Empire and the Triple Alliance, pushing the still-inexperienced pair into the heart of a widening conflict.

As fighting escalates between “pure” humankind and the Abh—humanity’s own creation—both factions come to recognize that the struggle runs deeper than contested borders. The battlefield becomes a place where fundamental differences are tested, and the outcome may decide more than territory alone.
