Toward the Terra (TV)

After Earth—Terra—becomes too polluted to restore, the world’s governments merge into an authoritarian order known as Superior Domination (SD) and push humanity into space colonization. Centuries later, society trades personal freedom for the rule of the AI “Grand Mother”: at age 14, citizens have their memories erased and are reassigned to new lives without question.

Jomy Marquis Shin, a gentle boy raised by caring parents, is pulled from that fate by Soldier Blue, leader of the Mu—humans born with powerful psychic abilities. Branded a threat by SD, Jomy is hunted by the state and ultimately finds refuge among the Mu aboard their hidden ship, Shangri-La.

Years on, Jomy rises to lead the Mu resistance and sets his sights on a return to Terra, pursued relentlessly by Keith Anyan, a formidable SD officer determined to protect humanity’s new order. Their clash becomes a race between a persecuted people’s last hope and the system intent on erasing them.
