Miu Takigawa prefers to stay hidden behind her long bangs, drifting through daily life without drawing attention. Quiet and easily flustered, she has trouble even smiling at customers during her part-time job, yet she keeps working hard for the sake of her mother and her beloved younger sister, Haru. Everything shifts when a letter from the entertainment company GIP arrives, naming her as a candidate for a new project.

Accepting the unexpected invitation, Miu goes to the designated meeting place and finds other girls who received the same summons. They’re soon led by a manager to an opulent, concealed facility, where they’re told their path will be dictated by a mysterious presence known only as “The Wall,” and its commands are not to be questioned. With a debut set for December 24, 2016, the idol group 22/7 is expected to step into the spotlight—ready or not.
