As Seishou Music Academy prepares for its annual Seishou Festival, the all-girls institution’s 99th class readies a new staging of *Starlight*—a tragic legend about two goddesses brought together by the light of the heavens, only to be separated forever. Built to cultivate the next generation of stage performers, Seishou pushes its students to sharpen their craft in singing, acting, and dance.

Sixteen-year-old Karen Aijou, a laid-back girl who has long dreamed of standing under the spotlight, finds her passion reignited when her childhood friend, Hikari Kagura, transfers in. Their reunion leads Karen to a hidden elevator and an enormous underground theater where a talking giraffe presides over secret duels among classmates. With the coveted “Top Star” title—and the chance to claim a leading role in *Starlight*—on the line, Karen steps into the battles, determined to fulfill the promise she once made with Hikari to shine together on stage.
