Warlords of Sigrdrifa

Humanity is pushed to the edge by an alien menace known as the Pillars until a self-proclaimed god, Odin, intervenes. He grants people the power of the “Valkyries,” battle maidens who take to the skies in vintage aircraft called Hero Wings to fight back.

Claudia “Schwertleite” Bruford, the top Valkyrie of Europe, is reassigned to Japan after the country’s S-class Valkyrie is killed in action. Shadowed by a grim reputation as the lone survivor of disastrous missions—earning her the nickname “Grim Reaper”—Claudia suspects her transfer is no coincidence. Expecting rejection, she reports to the Tateyama Valkyrie Wing, only to find a squad of eccentric teammates who refuse to let her past define her.
