At the Academy City of Zuellni, Layfon Alseif arrives determined to leave his past behind. That plan unravels when Karian Loss, the calculating student council president, and Nina Antalk—a Military Arts student and captain of the 17th Military Arts Platoon—take notice of his exceptional talent and push to recruit him.
