In the present, the Four Divine Kings regroup with a grim purpose: to revive Anthrasax, the god of destruction that nearly wiped out the world four centuries earlier. Their plan hinges on shattering four seals hidden across four kingdoms, and Metallicana becomes one of their targets as its defenders struggle against the invading forces. With the situation turning desperate, attention falls on Yoko Tia Noto, daughter of Metallicana’s Grand Priest, who knows her adopted younger brother Lucien Renlen is the vessel containing Dark Schneider—and also knows the rite needed to unseal him. When she releases him, Dark Schneider emerges as twisted as ever, leaving the world’s fate to hinge on whether he will oppose his former allies or return to them—something only Yoko can hope to influence.
