First Squad: The Moment of Truth

With World War II closing in on Moscow, the Soviet Union turns to an unconventional last line of defense: First Squad, a covert intelligence unit made up of teenagers gifted with supernatural powers. But the team has been devastated, leaving only Nadya Ruslanova alive—haunted by memory loss and seemingly unfit to return to the battlefield.

As the rare “Moment of Truth,” a turning point said to occur once every 700 years when one person’s actions can reshape history, nears the Eastern Front, a new threat emerges. The German occult group Ahnenerbe attempts to tip the war by summoning Baron von Wolff, a crusader-era knight, along with an undead army from the underworld. To stop the ritual and the catastrophe it would unleash, First Squad must be reunited, and Nadya is tasked with calling back her fallen comrades to stand against the Nazi advance.
