Amu Hinamori and the Guardians of Seiyo Elementary press on with their mission to find and cleanse X Eggs, all while searching for the elusive Embryo—said to be an egg capable of granting any wish. Their race becomes even more urgent as the Easter Corporation also hunts for the Embryo, determined to claim it first.

To draw the Embryo out, Easter brings in Lulu de Morcerf, a distant girl whose ruby necklace allows her to turn Heart Eggs into ominous Mystery Eggs. Unlike X Eggs, these new eggs are far harder to purify and can even force their owners into a Character Transformation. With the situation escalating, the Guardians must uncover what’s behind the Mystery Eggs and stop them—without losing ground in the pursuit of the Embryo.
