Demon Lord 2099

Five centuries after the war that shattered Alneath—pitting immortal mages against artifact-wielding mortals—the conflict ended when the hero Gram struck down the Demon Lord Veltol Velvet Velsvolt. By 2099, everything has changed: Alneath and a technologically advanced Earth have merged through an event called Fantasion. With immortals nearly wiped out and “Familia” implants letting mortals channel magic, the rebuilt world runs on a volatile mix of circuitry and sorcery.

In Shinjuku, a techno-magical city raised amid the ruins, Veltol is brought back by his loyal vassal Machina Solege, only to find his power drastically diminished and his former ally Marcus turned traitor. Guided by Takahashi—Machina’s hacker friend—Veltol takes an unexpected route to reclaim influence: live streaming. His cutting commentary and hilariously bad gaming draw an audience, but restoring his strength means digging into Shinjuku’s hidden truths and stopping Marcus’s schemes.
