Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero

Max once stood at the center of a decisive battle for humanity’s survival, defeating the Demon Lord alongside his companions. With his final breath, the fallen Maou swore he would return someday—stronger, and ready to settle the score.

A decade later, Maou revives, but not quite as planned: his resurrection leaves him stuck in a childlike body. Impatient to begin his revenge, he seeks out Max, only to find the former hero living in squalor as a washed-up recluse, a far cry from the champion he remembers. Refusing to accept such an unworthy rival, Maou moves into Max’s one-room home to whip him back into shape—only to uncover that Max’s decline may have deeper reasons tied to what happened during the ten years Maou was gone.
