Girls Band Cry

Seventeen-year-old Nina Iseri arrives in Tokyo hoping to get her life on track and aim for a good university, only to have everything go wrong at once—she loses her way, gets brushed aside, and even finds herself locked out of her new place. In the middle of that rough start, she crosses paths with Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist Nina has long admired, and the chance meeting opens a door Nina didn’t expect.

After performing together on the street, Momoka suggests forming a band, pulling Nina into a world where resolve matters as much as talent. As their group grows to include drummer Subaru Awa, keyboardist Tomo Ebizuka, and bassist Rupa, the five navigate obstacles in the music scene and their own personal struggles—held together by the drive to keep playing and keep moving forward.
