Konoha Koga looks like an ordinary high schooler living on her own—until you learn she secretly takes on assassin work after class. Her quiet routine shifts when she crosses paths with Satoko Kusagukare, a runaway ninja being pursued by former comrades after leaving her village behind.

After Konoha eliminates one of Satoko’s pursuers, Satoko reveals an unusual talent for disposing of bodies and erasing evidence. Recognizing how useful that skill could be, Konoha proposes a straightforward arrangement: Satoko gets a place to stay, and in return she handles the cleanup from Konoha’s jobs. Sharing a home—and a surprisingly compatible partnership—the two settle into an offbeat daily life shaped by domestic moments and neatly coordinated “work” together.
