Akiba Maid War

Nagomi Wahira arrives in Akihabara with a simple dream: to become one of the adorable girls she’s long admired in maid cafés. She lands a job at Ton Tokoton, expecting a cheerful start in a world of smiles, frills, and customer service.

That illusion shatters on her very first day when she’s sent on an “errand” to a rival café alongside fellow newcomer Ranko Mannen. What should be routine turns into a brutal clash between competing establishments, and Nagomi witnesses Ranko cutting through gun- and knife-wielding maids with unnerving composure. Faced with the violent undercurrent behind Akihabara’s maid scene, Nagomi struggles to make sense of the gap between her fantasies and the reality—and to find the joy she once believed the job would hold.
