Inspired by the enthusiasm of her upperclassman Makinohara, Satsuki Amamiya signs up for the school’s Photography Club with her friend An Kiriyama. Eager to improve, Satsuki spends her days snapping photo after photo—often with Makinohara as her favorite subject—until graduation leaves the club’s future in Satsuki’s hands. Choosing to turn the page, she picks up a 360-degree camera through an online auction and starts experimenting with a new way of capturing the world.

Their growing curiosity and shared projects bring fresh energy, but the club faces shutdown due to too few members. To keep it alive, Satsuki and An persuade Sakurako Shikishima, head of the Cinema Club, to join them, forming the Cinephoto Club. With Sakurako along for the ride and support from their friend Haruno Akiyama, a manga artist, they set out to explore new places and preserve the moments that matter most.
