Kanamemo

After losing her grandmother, middle schooler Kana Nakamachi is left with an empty home and nowhere to stay—her age makes finding lodging especially difficult. Her situation takes a turn when she comes across the Fuhshin Gazette, a neighborhood newspaper delivery shop willing to give her a roof over her head in exchange for work.

Kana’s new workplace is anything but ordinary, thanks to a lively staff that includes the sweets-obsessed Yume Kitaoka and her girlfriend Yuuki Minami, the penny-pinching Hinata Azuma, the frequently drunk Haruka Nishida, and the young yet surprisingly composed Saki Amano. Between long hours, mailbox-guarding dogs, hard-to-follow routes, and a budding rivalry with Mika Kujiin from a competing shop, Kana quickly learns that earning her place at the Gazette keeps her constantly on the move.
