Synopsis
First-year Takahiko Urino wants to make his mark on the school paper, *Furnado Monthly*, by chasing a story no one else has. With encouragement from his girlfriend, Yuki Osanai—an outwardly ordinary second-year—he persuades the newspaper club to let him investigate a string of minor fires that has begun to resemble serial arson. Determined to forecast where the next blaze will strike and unmask the culprit, Urino’s fixation starts to put the club in a bad light, while Osanai grows uneasy with the arrogance creeping into his pursuit.
