Takeshi's life takes an unexpected turn during what was meant to be a simple study session with Michi, the most captivating girl at school. Instead of cramming for exams, he finds himself whisked away to the peculiar realm of Weiss Schwarz Battle Space, where he learns he has been chosen to partake in a series of card battles. An eccentric old man greets him with the news that victory is his only ticket back to reality.
