Muromi-san

Life on the docks is usually defined by quiet waves and long hours with a fishing line—until Takurou Mukoujima hooks something far less ordinary: a lively mermaid named Muromi-san. Bursting with energy and eager to hang around her new acquaintance, she turns Takurou’s calm routine into a steady stream of interruptions, whether he welcomes them or not.

With Muromi-san’s chatty, reckless presence constantly at his side, Takurou finds it harder to keep his days simple. As she begins bringing along friends from the depths, the once-peaceful pier becomes an unexpected meeting spot for all kinds of mythological sea-dwellers—while Takurou continues to chase the one thing he wants most: a quiet day of fishing.
