Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee

Gauche Suede is a standout among the Letter Bees, a government delivery corps trusted to carry written messages across the farthest reaches of the Amberground. That duty is anything but simple: the world lies under perpetual twilight, and the roads are threatened by Gaichuu—monsters that turn each route into a dangerous crossing. During one especially risky assignment, Gauche encounters Lag Seeing, a troubled boy being transported as a “letter.”

Five years later, Lag follows the same path and becomes a Letter Bee himself, driven by the memory of that journey and the example Gauche set. As Lag works to live up to his hero, he begins to uncover the deeper tensions and complicated truths woven into the Amberground.
