Black Cat

Train Heartnet is a cold, meticulous hitman known in the underworld as “Black Cat,” carrying out flawless assassinations for the shadowy organization Chronos. With little concern for human life, he moves through jobs with detached efficiency—until a chance encounter begins to unsettle the routine he’s built.

On a bleak night, Train crosses paths with Saya Minatsuki, a mysterious bounty hunter whose outlook and unexpected camaraderie leave an impression on him. Her influence pushes him to question his path, and he ultimately walks away from Chronos to live as a legitimate bounty hunter. But Chronos refuses to let go—especially Creed Diskenth, Train’s possessive subordinate, who is determined to drag Black Cat back by any means necessary.
