The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

On a frigid December morning, Kyon heads to school expecting the usual routine with the SOS Brigade—only to find his world quietly rewritten. Haruhi Suzumiya and Itsuki Koizumi have vanished without a trace, Mikuru Asahina treats him like a stranger, Yuki Nagato is an ordinary student, and Ryouko Asakura is inexplicably back. Even with his past brushes with the supernatural, the sheer wrongness of it all leaves Kyon shaken.

With no one else aware that anything has changed, Kyon begins searching for answers alone. The new reality offers the normal life he once wished for, but reclaiming what was lost may be the only way to restore the strange, turbulent days he can’t bring himself to abandon.
