At the Holmes Detective Academy in Yokohama, Sherlock Shellingford, Nero Yuzurizaki, Hercule Burton, and Cordelia Glauca stand out as Milky Holmes, a celebrated team with a bright reputation. That status collapses after an encounter with the phantom thief Arsene leaves them without their Toys, forcing them out of their privileged position and into a shabby attic. With only three months to recover their lost abilities—or face expulsion—they struggle to keep working as detectives despite the very powers that defined them being gone.
