Juna Ariyoshi is a typical Japanese schoolgirl with a bright curiosity and a deep affection for the natural world. During an outing with her boyfriend, Tokio Oshima, her life is cut short in a motorcycle accident—until a man named Chris Hawken intervenes, offering her a second chance. Returned with extraordinary abilities as the avatar of time, Juna is tasked with defending Earth from the raaja, hostile entities born from the toxic pollution created by humanity.

The mission quickly proves overwhelming. As Juna struggles to control her new powers, she’s drawn into unsettling questions about how science and technology have distanced people from their instinctive bond with nature. Guided by Chris, his assistant Cindy Klein, and the global organization SEED, she must confront her fears and search for a way to stop the raaja before they consume everything she holds dear.
