Origin: Spirits of the Past

Three centuries after a failed genetic experiment altered Earth’s forests, the vegetation gained awareness and turned on humanity. The conflict that followed left the planet a harsh dystopia, with surviving communities clinging to fragile pockets of safety.

In this new era, Agito lives with his father in Neutral City, a village sustaining a tense ceasefire with the encroaching forest. While out fetching water, he becomes separated from his friend and discovers a remnant of the old world: a girl asleep inside a mysterious machine. He wakes her and brings her back to the village, learning her name is Toola Cm Sacl.

Toola’s arrival draws attention from those who see her as the key to restoring the Earth. Influenced by Shunack, a soldier from the past determined to eradicate the forest, Toola leaves despite Agito’s warnings. Refusing to abandon her, Agito turns to the forest’s power and sets out after her, hoping to bridge the divide between humanity and the world that now surrounds it.
