Synopsis
Long after the war against the Space Monsters began, its origins have faded into legend and scattered records. Even so, humanity continues the fight, placing its hopes in the Topless—exceptional pilots gifted with special abilities that let them operate the Buster Machines, the last line of defense in the depths of space.
On a quiet Martian backwater, Nono grows up captivated by stories of the famed “Nono-Riri,” dreaming of escaping her modest life to become a pilot like her idol. When misfortune leaves her with few options, she crosses paths with the solitary Topless pilot Lal’C Melk Mark and commits herself to following Lal’C, determined to chase her ambition no matter what awaits.
