Eureka Seven AO

On the secluded Okinawan island of Iwado, calls to restore autonomous rule grow louder as daily life carries on at the edge of larger political tensions. Twelve-year-old Ao Fukai lives with the elderly doctor Toshio and is on the verge of starting middle school, still haunted by the mysteries surrounding his family—his father is missing, and his mother was taken away by unknown people ten years earlier.

Ao’s childhood friend Naru Arata lives nearby with her father, older sister, and grandmother, and bears a “Yuta” ability that surfaced after an incident in her early years. When a mysterious presence known as “Secret” appears and attacks the island’s Scub Coral lifeform, Ao is driven to act, boarding a Japanese military transport and launching the military FP called Nirvash in a desperate effort to protect Iwado.
