Long ago, humans and demons coexisted in uneasy peace—until demons began turning on humanity and set their sights on reviving Gyumao, a fearsome figure sealed away for thousands of years. With old tensions reignited, the world’s fragile balance starts to collapse.

Genjo Sanzo, a renegade priest, is tasked with stopping the resurrection. Joined by three demon companions—Sha Gojyo, Son Goku, and Cho Hakkai—he heads west on a dangerous journey, racing to halt the plot and restore equilibrium between humans and demons on Earth.
