After falling from a fourth-floor window, Hashiba Sora wakes up with his memories wiped clean. Life at school takes another turn when Fujimori Sunao arrives as his new roommate—and insists that Sora is also known as “Ran,” a name that doesn’t match anything Sora can remember.

As the two grow closer, they confront a shared secret from childhood: both developed split personalities. Their other selves, Yoru and Ran, are passionately in love, leaving Sunao and Sora unsettled by what happens between them at night even as their own feelings begin to change. That budding relationship draws Sora toward unsettling revelations about their past.
