In Duel Masters, five mighty civilizations exist beyond the ordinary world, and a strategic card game serves as the bridge between them. By dueling, players can call these realms—and their powers—into reality, earning the title of Kaijudo master.

Shobu Kirifuda rules his neighborhood playground matches and dreams of reaching the same world-class heights as his father. Confident heading into a local tournament, he’s abruptly humbled when he’s soundly defeated by the top Kaijudo master, Knight. Shaken but guided by his father’s advice, Shobu chooses to keep playing with a renewed outlook—focused not just on winning, but on appreciating the game as he grows into a stronger duelist.
