Disgaea

An angel has descended into the Netherworld, a demon lord has been roused from a long sleep, and an army of penguin-suited troublemakers is somehow part of the plan. Flonne, an angel assassin-in-training sent to eliminate the Overlord, accidentally awakens Laharl—heir to the throne—after a two-year slumber, turning a straightforward mission into a chaotic partnership.

With Etna, Laharl’s less-than-loyal vassal, and her squad of explosive souls in penguin costumes at their side, the unlikely group sets out to steady a collapsing Netherworld. Based on *Disgaea: Hour of Darkness*, *Makai Senki Disgaea* follows Laharl as he moves to crush a demon rebellion and reclaim his rule—whether others fall before him or end up tagging along for the ride.
