Gatchaman Crowds

Hajime Ichinose’s everyday routine takes an abrupt turn when a transcendent being, J.J. Robinson, gives her a small book called NOTE—an item that grants her the power to become one of the Gatchaman, the fabled guardians of Tachikawa City. With the team’s existence kept strictly under wraps, the stern Sugane Tachibana escorts Hajime to their headquarters to begin her initiation.

There, Paiman—the panda-like alien who leads the Gatchaman—explains their mission: to hunt down and eliminate dangerous extraterrestrial threats known as MESS. As these destructive entities grow more perilous and leave ruin in their wake, Hajime joins the Gatchaman in a fight to prevent their escalating attacks from plunging the world into chaos.
