Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta

Long ago, the boundary between the human world and the realm of youkai briefly overlapped, sending residents from both sides across the divide. In the aftermath, Sakurashin grew into a key crossroads for interdimensional matters, drawn by the sacred Seven Pillars that ring the city. Keeping day-to-day life running smoothly is the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office: Mayor Hime Yarizakura; Ao Nanami, a satori who can hear thoughts; Kotoha Isone, a half-youkai whose words can call forth objects; the oni siblings Kyousuke and Touka Kishi; and their director Akina Hiizumi, who carries the power to drive youkai back to their world.

Alongside mediation and volunteer work, the group deals with “Strikes,” dangerous incidents where humans are suddenly flooded with youkai abilities and lose control. When a suspicious man arrives and Strikes begin to spike, Sakurashin faces mounting pressure from political maneuvering and hostile forces closing in—leaving the Life Counseling Office to defend the city they’ve sworn to protect.
