Yumehara Nozomi, an ordinary student, stumbles upon a mystical tome known as the Dream Collet while exploring her school library. This discovery leads her to encounter Coco and Nuts, two charming beings from the Palmier Kingdom, who urgently seek her assistance. Their world has been ravaged by the nefarious Nightmares, and to restore peace, they need Nozomi to complete the Dream Collet by locating the 55 Pinkies, each holding the power to grant a wish. As the threat from the Nightmares encroaches on her reality, Nozomi decides to take action.

With her newfound determination, Nozomi transforms into the magical warrior Cure Dream, taking up the mantle to protect her world. She is soon joined by four classmates, each of whom is granted their own magical identities, forming a formidable team of Pretty Cure. Together, they embark on an exhilarating journey filled with challenges and adventures, as they strive to reclaim the lost dreams of the Palmier Kingdom and fend off the dark forces that seek to disrupt their lives.
