Heavy Object

In a far-off future, warfare is decided by “Objects”: enormous spherical tanks that shrug off conventional weapons and carry overwhelming firepower. Once an Object is deployed, victory is all but guaranteed, leaving traditional forces to play a supporting role—until circumstances begin to challenge that assumption.

Qwenthur Barbotage, an Object Design student, and Havia Winchell, a noble-born radar analyst, serve with the Legitimate Kingdom’s 37th Mobile Maintenance Battalion in support of the Baby Magnum. When a mission goes disastrously wrong, they find themselves as ordinary infantry staring down an enemy Object, forced to improvise just to keep themselves and their comrades alive—an encounter that starts to shift how the world views these supposedly unbeatable machines.

Alongside Baby Magnum pilot Milinda Brantini and their commander Frolaytia Capistrano, Qwenthur and Havia are sent from battlefield to battlefield across the globe. With each operation presenting another near-impossible problem, they rely on quick thinking and nerve to survive against foes built to be unstoppable.
