Three Leaves, Three Colors

After her father’s company goes bankrupt, Youko Nishikawa is forced to trade a pampered upbringing for a much humbler life—yet she can’t quite shake her refined, “princess” mannerisms. Struggling to fit in at an all-girls high school, she often finds herself alone until a quiet lunch in a nearby forest leads to an unexpected meeting.

There, Youko crosses paths with Futaba Odagiri, a hyper-spirited transfer student, and Teru Hayama, a sweet-faced classmate whose bluntness can turn surprisingly sharp. Different as they are, the three girls—each with the kanji for “leaf” in her name—gradually form a quirky friendship, stumbling through the everyday surprises and small adventures of high school together.
