Blame!: The Movie

In the vast, ruined megacity of *Blame!: The Movie*, a young girl named Zuru leads a risky foraging expedition through machine-ruled corridors in search of food. The mission turns deadly when her group inadvertently activates the city’s AI defense system, the Safeguard, unleashing relentless mechanical attackers. With her companions facing annihilation, a mysterious man named Killy appears and cuts down the hostile units.

Even after being saved, Zuru remains wary of Killy’s intentions. He explains that he has climbed from thousands of levels below, searching for humans who carry the Net Terminal Genes—an inherited trait that could restore humanity’s access to its civilization and disable the Safeguard. With that fragile possibility in mind, Zuru and the others choose to travel with him, pushing deeper into the labyrinth in pursuit of what may be their last chance to survive.
