Earth has become a ruined battlefield, dominated by alien-made Machine Lifeforms. With humanity driven into exile on the Moon, the last hope of reclaiming the planet rests on YoRHa—combat androids built to wage a relentless war in their creators’ name. At the forefront is YoRHa 2-gou B-gata, known as 2B, an all-purpose battle unit sent to push back the invaders and restore human control.

But as the fighting grinds on, fractures begin to show beneath the surface of the conflict. Confronted with unsettling hints about what the war truly entails, 2B’s steadfast resolve is tested, forcing her to reflect on her purpose and the cost of continuing to fight for humanity.
