The Girl in Twilight

An urban legend known as the 4:44 ritual claims that if a radio is tuned to the right frequencies in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree at exactly 4:44, the listener will be carried into another dimension.

Asuka Tsuchimiya puts the rumor to the test with her Crystal Radio Research Club friends—Nana Nanase, Mia Silverstone, Yuu Tounaka, and Chloe Morisu—and the impossible happens. The five are pulled into a parallel world called a “fragment,” where they encounter a disturbingly familiar girl: an alternate version of Asuka. Nicknamed “Seriouska” for her stern demeanor and combat skill, she warns them of the Twilight, a looming threat that erases the possibilities of countless parallel worlds.

With the Twilight spreading, Seriouska sets her sights on the figure she believes is responsible—the Twilight King. As Asuka and the others begin grappling with what these fragments reveal about themselves, their search for the Twilight King continues, and the answer to stopping the Twilight may be closer than expected.
